Why We Built This Site
Michigan does not offer the public a single name-searchable database for active warrants. LEIN is a restricted criminal-justice network, and ICHAT is a separate criminal-history service that excludes warrant information. MiCOURT may help locate a case in a participating court, but a docket entry is not an official confirmation that a warrant is active or recalled. Courts issue warrants and control the case; sheriffs and police carry out service and maintain agency records. Many local matters begin in district court, while Michigan also has circuit and probate courts and four municipal courts in Wayne County. A missing result in one system cannot establish that no warrant exists. The useful next step is to identify the court named on the paperwork and ask that court to confirm the record and procedure.

What We Cannot Do
This is an independently operated reference service, not a Michigan court, sheriff's office, or state agency. It cannot take action on an individual case:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that outside contact details or court procedures will remain current
For a Michigan matter, ask the issuing court whether its record shows an active warrant and what action is required. The sheriff or police agency can address service or its own record. A public docket or criminal-history result cannot replace those confirmations.
Search Partners
Some search boxes are operated by outside providers. Their prices, service terms, and results are set by those companies. A referral fee may be earned if a visitor follows a partner link and completes a paid signup. Those results are not official Michigan warrant records, and the provider's own terms govern its service.
